The Nordost Solar Wind Loudspeaker Cable "makes the connection" at a new level. It is an exciting new high performance loudspeaker cable at a budget price. Derived from similar technology to the perennial favorite Blue Heaven the Solar Wind offers better resolution, more detail, and faster signal speed than any other speaker cable in this price class.

Solar Wind speaker cable consists of 54 solid Silver-plated OFC conductors. The conductors are divided into two groups of 9 and 18 per side this allows for easy BI-Wiring with the two groups of 9 conductors being used for treble signals two groups of 18 conductors for bass. Each conductor has exactly 5 mils of Teflon extruded around it with very high precision spacing between the conductors. This results in an extremely high-speed cable with exceptional transient detail and musicality. Solar Wind is normally terminated for BI- wiring with Nordost 4mm Z plugs or spade connectors. Pair the Solar Wind speaker with a matching Solar Wind interconnect and you will hear a new level of musical realism in your system.

The cable consists of 12 solid Silver-plated oxygen free copper conductors. Six conductors are used for signal and six for return. Each conductor has exactly 5 mils of Teflon extruded around it with very high precision spacing between the conductors. This results in an extremely high-speed cable with exceptional transient detail. The cable is made using Nordost's proprietary extruded Teflon technology. The Solar Wind Interconnect should be used in conjunction with Solar Wind Speaker cable for best results.
